Description

CoveLight is a decorative foam cornice molding that can be used to make an attractive cove light effect. It is lightweight and easy to handle. Made of extruded polystyrene (XPS). It is designed to be installed along the upper edge of a wall, where the wall meets the ceiling, adding a clean, modern finish while providing space for indirect LED lighting components. The molding has a wire recess for running cables to power long lengths of LEDs. 

This foam LED molding is cleverly designed to use the Yukon aluminum heatsink profile. We strongly recommend using the Yukon aluminum profile for mounting the LED lighting because it serves to dissipate heat from the LED strips. In addition, the foam profile is designed to allow you to freely position the Yukon profile in the recess so that you can adjust the lighting angle for optimum results.

This linear cove light molding features an integrated wire recess for running cables, making it ideal for successfully installing and powering long lighting runs. Be sure to order the LEDs of your choice to complete the setup.

Installation of this lightweight lighting profile is straightforward, as well as mess and tool-free. Simply apply Loctite PL300 adhesive or similar to the built-in glue slots on the back of the foam profile to neatly and securely mount the profile to the wall. Once the adhesive has bonded, you can install your lighting into the foam profile.

Please note:

• The CoveLight profile is supplied as raw foam and is intended to be painted with water-based paints to perfectly match your interior design.
• Avoid using solvents or solvent-based paints, which may damage the foam material.

We offer the CoveLight profile as the foam profile only, or conveniently in a pack with the Yukon aluminum LED heatsink and Loctite PL300 adhesive.
