Pros & Cons of LED Stair Lighting Channels
- Stair lights indoor applications are fairly easy to produce a long-lasting installation but outdoor stair lights need to be thoroughly weatherproofed and installed by a qualified electrician.
- Most LED strips are compatible with our LED Stair lighting profiles but bear in mind the width of the LED strip to make sure it will physically fit into the channel. Our Honeysuckle Series LED Strip is ideal for LED chambers that are narrower than 8mm
- If the stair nosing profile is over 96 inches in length this can affect shipping costs. Bear in mind the freight implications in such instances. This can be overcome by using shorted lengths of profile in conjunction with linear connectors and long lengths of the diffuser which can be shipped rolled up – this gives a joint-free final result.
- Our LED wtrip lighting is all low voltage so ideal to use to create solar step lights
- Our Casambi sensors are great to use for motion sensors for stairs and the Casambi PWM4 works well for dimming your installation
