LED Handrail Lighting Profiles for Stairs, Balustrades, and Ramps
Stainless Steel LED Handrail Profiles for Wall-Mounted Stair Rails
The Comenza is a round 42mm stainless steel handrail with an LED channel machined into the underside. It mounts to the wall on standard handrail brackets, and the diffused light line runs along the bottom of the rail, throwing light onto the stair treads below. The brushed stainless finish suits commercial stairwells, hotel corridors, and contemporary residential interiors where the handrail also needs to read as a quality piece of metalwork rather than a lit accessory. Each section ships in stock lengths with mounting hardware sold as a separate accessory, so you can spec the wall-bracket spacing to the local stair-code requirements.
Aluminum LED Handrail Channels for Glass Balustrade Tops
The Alu-Glass profile is a different proposition. Rather than acting as a grabrail, it clamps to the top edge of a glass balustrade panel and edge-lights the glass from above. The light enters the glass through its top edge and travels through the panel, which lights the whole balustrade as a soft glowing plane rather than a single line. This is the spec for modern stair balustrades, mezzanine edges, and balcony rails where the glass itself is the design feature. The aluminum channel houses the strip and clamps onto 8 to 12mm laminated glass without through-fixings.

Solid Wood LED Handrails for Architectural Stair Designs
The Appalachians Wood handrail is the premium option in this range, a solid timber profile with an LED channel routed into the underside. The light line runs along the bottom of the rail and washes down onto the stair treads. The wood reads as the design feature; the light is a quiet second layer. This is the spec for higher-end residential staircases and architectural commercial projects where a metal or aluminum rail would feel wrong against the material palette. Sold by the section in stock lengths, with the strip and driver sourced separately so the install matches the dimming method specified for the rest of the lighting plan.
