Description

The CBU-SKYTIME-IP is an AC-powered satellite time source for Casambi networks that ensures accurate time synchronization without the need for an internet connection. It features a built-in GPS real-time clock (RTC) that automatically updates the Casambi network after power outages, maintaining correct time even without a battery. The device transmits the current time over Bluetooth Low Energy and can be configured via the Casambi mobile application on smartphones.

Designed for reliability, the CBU-SKYTIME-IP comes in an IP67-rated enclosure with an internal GPS antenna and supports extended temperature ranges. It is powered by 230 Vac @‌50 Hz and undergoes a 100% functional test, backed by a 5-year warranty. For networks requiring multiple time sources, each Casambi network must have its own CBU-SKYTIME device.

The CBU-SKYTIME-IP allows seamless timer updates for programmed scenarios, ensuring scheduled events run accurately after blackouts or temporary power loss. Configuration options are accessible through the free Casambi mobile app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, enabling easy setup and management of network parameters.
