Description

The thermoBox is a Wi-Fi-connected smart temperature controller designed to automate and control heating (and in some setups, cooling) systems in homes, apartments, and commercial spaces. The unit supports potential and potential-free connections and works with temperature probes capable of measuring a range of -55 °C to +125 °C.

The thermoBox controller records an annual history of temperature measurements, with data stored every 5 minutes for up to one week and hourly averages saved for up to one year. An advanced scheduling system with an astronomical clock allows automatic temperature adjustments based on time of day, sunrise, and sunset. Turbo mode enables rapid heating or cooling for a set period when needed.

The thermoBox can control central heating boilers with a control input and a wide range of heating devices, including electric heaters, oil heaters, fan heaters, pool heaters, aquarium and terrarium heaters, heating mats, ceramic heating lamps, and sanitary water heating systems. It also supports radiator systems and water underfloor heating when used with a 230 V solenoid valve or electrothermal head.

For underfloor heating, this thermostat controller supports an additional temperature probe for safety. The second probe allows monitoring of floor temperature to prevent overheating of heated surfaces. Additional probes are available in multiple lengths.

Manual control is possible via a wall push-button, as well as compatible Blebox accessories such as inBox and μRemote.

Built-in safety features include a self-diagnosis system for correct wiring and automatic detection of measurement errors, such as probe damage or electromagnetic interference.
