Description

The OCTO Lite is a compact 8-universe eDMX to SPI pixel controller designed for reliable Ethernet-to-pixel conversion in professional LED lighting installations. Housed in a 4-module DIN-rail form factor, it processes Art-Net, sACN, and ESP protocols and supports up to 1,360 RGB or 1,024 RGBW pixels per unit. Built on the proven ENTTEC OCTO platform, it ensures stable performance for architectural, commercial, and entertainment lighting projects.

This LED pixel controller delivers 8 universes of output with 4 universes per port, enabling flexible configuration for SPI pixel fixtures with or without a clock line. It supports over 20 industry-standard pixel protocols and allows custom protocol creation directly on the device for specialized applications. Dual Ethernet ports with Port Sync enable easy daisy-chaining and synchronized data distribution without extra hardware.

Designed for efficient installation, the OCTO Lite features a wide 5–60V DC input range and can be powered directly from the connected LED pixel strip or nodes via either output port, reducing wiring and eliminating the need for separate power supplies. The durable 4-DIN enclosure supports TS35 DIN rail or surface mounting, making it suitable for control panels and compact setups.

Configuration and monitoring are handled through a web-based interface with support for firmware updates, real-time data monitoring, and network diagnostics. A front LED status indicator shows device activity, while the Identify/Reset button outputs a full signal for 10 seconds to verify wiring without an active network connection. Dual RJ45 ports support 10/100Mbps Ethernet with link and activity indicators for stable connectivity.
