Description

The windSensor Pro is a professional-grade anemometer designed to accurately monitor wind speed. This wind sensor allows for automation by wirelessly controlling up to 30 other BleBox devices. This functionality enables users to manage devices such as awnings, blinds, and other outdoor equipment based on wind speed, protecting them from potential damage.

This wind speed sensor measures instantaneous, maximum, and average wind speeds from 1.8 km/h to 108 km/h (1.1 – 67.1 mph). It integrates with the wBox application, providing real-time and historical wind data. Users can view average and maximum gusts and export this data for detailed analysis, making it ideal for evaluating wind conditions for projects such as wind farms.

The windSensor Pro also offers customizable notifications and warnings, alerting users to strong wind conditions. Notifications can be set for average wind speeds or gusts exceeding configurable speeds, ensuring timely alerts to prevent damage.

The wind sensor itself is highly weather resistant, and the control module is rated IP54. Just be sure to mount the sensor suitably for the expected wind load.

The external antenna extends WiFi range and supports reliable operation in areas with weak signals. The antenna socket allows for the use of a directional antenna, enhancing connectivity in remote locations.
