Description
The PIXEL-REPEATER is an RS485 to SPI converter designed for digital, programmable, and addressable LED strips. It receives the RS485 bus signal from the RUNNING-LIGHT-CASAMBI controller and converts it into SPI control, enabling pixel-to-pixel LED management. This solution allows synchronized, long-distance control of digital LED strips from a single controller, eliminating the need for multiple RUNNING-LIGHT units.
This RS485 to SPI repeater supports RGB, RGBW, and Tunable White (TW) digital LED strip lights operating on constant voltage. It is powered by a SELV constant voltage supply ranging from 5 Vdc to 48 Vdc, including 5V, 12V, 24V, and 48V systems. The output voltage matches the input voltage, ensuring stable and consistent performance across various LED strip configurations.
The PIXEL-REPEATER enables reliable remote control via the BUS interface of the RUNNING-LIGHT-CASAMBI controller. It can duplicate dynamic lighting effects and transmit control signals to pixel LED strips installed up to 250 meters away, making it ideal for large-scale architectural, commercial, and lighting installations requiring extended distance communication.
With a maximum output current of 7A, the PIXEL-REPEATER delivers dependable power handling for demanding digital LED applications. Built-in protections include over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, reverse polarity protection, and input fuse protection to safeguard both the device and connected LED strips.
