2" Recess LED Channel ~ Model RPL55

The RPL55 model is a 2" wide recessed LED lighting system consisting of two aluminum profiles - the main recessed channel (this product) plus an insert light tray for mounting the LED lighting strip. The result is a professional, modern lighting fixture which is easy to install.

Moreover, this recessed lighting LED strip channel is designed to be installed in gypsum-plaster ceilings with special springs that facilitate quick and reliable fitment without the need to use any tools in the fitment process.

Additionally, the base profile of this recessed lighting LED strip channel has space for inserting mounting springs and linear or angular connectors. The customer installs the main base profile in the ceiling first and then easily clips in the lighting tray insert once the dirty work has been completed.

Subsequently, in the second step of the installation, you place the LED strips on the lighting tray insert which clips into the base profile. The lighting tray insert functions as a heatsink for the LEDs, enabling high power installations.

Furthermore, you can install optional lighting reflectors made of highly polished aluminum (Vega 95) in the insert tray to improve the efficiency of the light output by 10-18%, depending on the light source used.

The 2" Recess LED Channel ~ Model RPL55 has a frame with a width of just 7mm which makes the frame very aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, the customer has a choice of opal or honeycomb lenses, and both versions limit glare to a minimum.
