Description
ENTTEC's 8PXA60-RGB-12V series are 12V addressable RGB LED pixel strips designed for professional architectural and entertainment applications, capable of displaying soft pastels or saturated colors on a large scale. The pixel capabilities mean you can individually control each LED chip, enabling you to display graphics and animations.
This pixel strip boasts a density of 60 color-calibrated RGB LEDs per meter – each engineered to provide consistent brightness and extended color gamut. Each LED chip is individually-controllable and capable of 24-bit, True Color display: that's 16,777,216 possible colors for each pixel.
The supported control protocol is SK6813, which is compatible with the common WS2812 protocol and GS8208B protocol. The strip is of course fully compatible with the ENTTEC range of pixel controllers. The fast 800 Kbps transmission rate means graphics and animations are displayed smoothly and consistently, while the built-in digital signal reshaping ensures accurate data transmission. And this particular series of strip includes a backup data line for per-LED data redundancy – ensuring the strip remains functional even if an LED is damaged, without affecting the LED mapping.
Designed by ENTTEC for reliable operation in the Australian environment, this professional quality pixel strip uses superior thickened copper tracks to reduce the effects of voltage drop and to allow a more even intensity along the length of the strip; in addition, it provides more durability and better heat dissipation. With a maximum power consumption of only 7.2 watts per meter and a luminous flux of 188.2 lumens per meter (an efficacy of 26.14 lumens per watt), this 12V pixel strip is bright yet efficient.
This strip is available with a black or white PCB. A black PCB is a great way to minimize external light reflection and conceal the workings of your installation. Alternatively, a white PCB can leave your installation looking slick and clean. Simply pick whichever one best suits your needs.
This strip is UL Listed, and also conforms to the following international compliance and safety standards: FCC, UKCA, CE, WEEE, RCM.
Being IP20 rated, we recommend this strip for indoor use only unless installed in a waterproof location.
